WEEKLY QUALIFIERS
All qualified players must have Discord, add FlashX#8712 and send him a message with a screenshot of their qualification in order to advance to regional finals.
Official Qualifiers:
The Official Qualifiers will run for five consecutive weeks beginning Tuesday July 2 and ending Tuesday August 6 for the EU & NA regions. Week 1 qualifying round will begin on Tuesday July 2 at 12pm PST and ending the following Tuesday July 9 at 11am PST. Week 2 qualifying round will begin that same Tuesday July 9 at 12pm PST and end on the following Tuesday July 16 at 11am PST. The qualifying rounds will progress in consecutive weeks like this until Week 5 is completed on Tuesday August 6. Regional finals will be held on Saturday August 10 (EU) and Sunday August 11 (NA). For full schedule please see appendix.
Advancing - Official Qualifiers:
Advancing to the finals in the Official Qualifiers will be drawn as such: the top three (3) individual score-earners in each weekly qualifying round will advance to the Regional Championship round. Each qualified individual score-earner advancing to the Regional Championship round will be able to invite two (2) additional teammates of their choosing to participate on their team in the Regional Championship.
GOTO Creator Qualifiers:
Players can also compete to advance by playing via the Twitch extension GameOn Tournament Organizer (GOTO), where streamers will create ROE qualifier tournaments for their followers to join. The GOTO Creator Qualifiers will likewise run in the same five consecutive weeks alongside the Official Qualifiers, beginning Tuesday July 2 and ending Tuesday August 6. Creators will start their tournaments on Tuesdays at 12pm PST and end them on the following Tuesdays at 11am PST, to mirror the regular Qualifier play periods.
Advancing - GOTO Creator Qualifiers:
Advancing to the Regional Championship round from these GOTO Creator Qualifiers will be slightly different and will be drawn as such: only the top four (4) highest overall individual score-earners from each region (4 EU & 4 NA = 8 total) from across all five cumulative weeks of the GOTO Creator Qualifiers in each region will qualify and advance to the Regional Championship. Like the regular qualifiers, each qualified individual score-earner advancing to the Regional Championship round here will be able to invite two additional teammates of their choosing to participate on their team in the Regional Championship.
Regional
Championships
The Regional Championships will take place online on Saturday August 10 (EU) and Sunday August 11 (NA). The final round championships will be broadcast on Twitch via the WSOE channel (https://www.twitch.tv/wsoe), where the same scoring rules will apply and each region will contain 60 total players, featured as 20 separate teams comprised of 3 players each who will compete to see who wins.
Rules:
The Amazon Cup will be played using the new game mode- Ashen Eye, a mini battle royale arena in which 3 players will form a team and compete against 14 other teams to survive with a smaller map and fixed/moving safe zone. Thus, each game will have 15 teams of 3, or 45 players total. For the regional championship, each game will have 20 teams of 3, or 60 players in total.
REGION RESTRICTION:
PLAYERS MUST BE PHYSICALLY LOCATED IN THE REGION QUALIFIERS TO BE QUALIFIED FOR THE REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS; PLAYERS WILL BE DISQUALIFIED IMMEDIATELY UPON MANUAL CONFIRMATION IF THEY ARE LOCATED OUTSIDE OF THE REGION THEY SIGNED UP FOR. Please see the "Additional details" section at the bottom of this page to learn more about criteria for countries that are considered as NA and EU.
Max Attempts:
Each week, players may play a maximum of twenty (20) games in that weekly qualifier round. At the end of the twenty attempts, their score will be displayed on the in-game leaderboard. See Scoring for details on how player scores will be determined.

To further incentivize players to enter the tournament and compete, the tournament will offer a variety of weekly rewards and incentives, which will be promoted throughout the tournament and fulfilled on a rolling basis.

Scoring FAQ
Q1: How will scoring be calculated?
A1: The total cumulative points for a player per qualifier round will be calculated as the sum of two things;
1. Team place points
2. Kill pts
Q2: If playing duo squads, does player get points based on how team places (if player dies, but teammate ends up getting 1st place, does player get the 1st place points?)
A2: Only points from Ashen Eye - FPP matchmaking count. . Everyone in a team will get the same team score regardless of how early a team member dies. For example, if the team gets the 1st place, everyone in the team will get 5 pts.
Scoring Rule:
Place | 1st | 2nd | 3rd | 4th-6th | 7th-10th | 11th-15th |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Points | 5 | 4 | 3 | 2 | 1 | 0 |
Q3: Are match kills only based off individual player or team?
A3: Based off individual players. Each match kill will earn the player 1 point.
Previously Advancing Players: In the event of a player who has already advanced to the Regional Championship round from a previous round, the next highest scoring player in that round will move up to advance from that round to ensure the required number of finalists end up playing in the Regional Championship round.
Tiebreakers: In the event of ties amongst top ranking players in qualifiers, the tiebreaker will be determined such that the player with the least amount of time spent to achieve their score will be the player who advances. GOTO Creator Qualifiers have the same rules and scoring as the Weekly Qualifiers.
